1.9 Set Bonus Changes

This is a post from a while back but I missed it and maybe some other people are interested too.

We've been reviewing the set bonuses offered from wearing multiple pieces of the tier 1 and tier 2 class sets which drop from Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and Onyxia's Lair. Listed below are some of the changes and improvements players can expect to see when the next patch goes live.

Arcanist

5 Piece: Changed to Fire, Frost, and Arcane spell penetration.

3 Piece: Changed to +spell damage for all schools

Netherwind:

5 Piece: Added Arcane explosion to the radius improvement.

3 Piece: Added Scorch to the threat reduction. The threat reduction for fireball has been changed to apply more to the initial damage.

Transcendence:

8 Piece: The heal over time bonus is now its own spell category, and will not be overwritten by Renew.

Felheart:

5 Piece: The health bonus for pets has been changed to a stamina bonus.

3 Piece: The bonus now affects Mana Drain as well, and has been increased to 15%.

Nemesis:

5 Piece: The health bonus for pets has been changed to a stamina bonus.

3 Piece: The Enslave Demon improvement has been replaced with +spell damage for all schools.

Cenarion:

8 Piece: The bonus now reduces the cooldown on Tranquility and Hurricane by 50%.

5 Piece: The critical hit bonus now applies to all spells.

3 Piece: The duration of Thorns now receives a 50% bonus as well.

Stormrage:

3 Piece: The shapeshifting bonus has been replaced with 15% mana regeneration while casting.

Bloodfang:

8 Piece: The rate of procs has been decreased slightly.

Giantstalker:

5 Piece: The health bonus for pets has been changed to a stamina bonus.

3 Piece: In addition to increasing range, this bonus will increase Mend Pet's effect by 10% and reduce cost by 30%.

Dragonstalker:

5 Piece: The health bonus for pets has been changed to a stamina bonus.

Ten Storms:

8 Piece: The Lightning Shield proc will now work with shorter casting time Lesser Healing Wave as well as Healing Wave.

5 Piece: The critical hit spell bonus has been increased to 3%.

Lawbringer:

5 Piece: The blessings bonus has been replaced with +1% melee and spell critical hit chance.

Judgement:

5 Piece: The reduction in mana cost of seals has been replaced with +damage to spells and healing.

fuck you blizzard. redo the gd wrath bonuses. theyre almost as bad as the pvp set bonuses.

and cenarion got a nice change, i think? tranq and hurricane -50% cooldown? i dunno if thats what it was before, but thats pretty awesome.

I'm tired of this "BUFF PETZ~" bullshit set bonuses....but the 8 piece dragonstalker is pwn...

lol, the nerf on the 8 piece bloodfang must now put it at once per minute, since they lowered it, most likely to a non zero number, and most reports said it was about twice per minute. thanks bliz.

I really like the 3 piece GS bonus, -30% mana cost AND 10% better mend pet?

In addition to the range increase it already has!!

I see NO improvements for anything warrior related when Wrath was hurting the most out of the sets bonus0wise.

Hehe, ours still sucks too. It'd be good if maybe more than 1 person in the whole world had full Transcendance, and even USED greater heal, but it's not.

Blizzard totally knows what the customers want, as we can see from all these posts.

It's too bad the proc rate is pitifully low enough to make it worthless compared to the GS 8 piece bonus. =/

It seems everyone hates the new set bonuses, all I can say is that I'm happy bout the Nemesis 3 piece bonus, from insta enslave to +damage to all school

If the AC and Stamina on Wrath wasn't so retardedly good, it would hardly be an upgrade from Might.

Once I have full Might, I'll be staying that way until I have access to at least 3 pieces of Wrath, maybe more.

Plus the new Wrath is :(
