We do plan to adjust the loot-table to increase the probability that Onyxia will drop the Mature Black Sinew for players in an upcoming patch, more than likely - patch 1.10. I'm not sure what the new drop rate will be, however, I will be certain to let you know when once such has been determined.

this game gets more and more easymode....first they buffed the drop rates on leaves and eyes, then on sinews...now on sinews again. I might just leave even if Vangaurd isnt out :P

Appearently they advertised the game as a game geared for the casual player. Sadly, before I bought it, I never saw that advertisement.

But yes, this game was designed to be easy mode.

But all we're talking about here is random chance. Onyxia is never a challange once you are geared up for it.

If you want challenge out of the raid content just do MC entirely in blues and greens :p

When the drop rates on the leaf and the eye in Domo's chest were actually epic it really meant something to have the bow or that sparkly staff. Now im more suprised when I dont see it. It's stupid. The eye and leaf should be white not purple...

Even quel is becoming ridiculously common and the book for it has less than 1% drop rate. These items shouldnt be handouts, having one should be a rarity, not an expectation.

Over time, it's bound to happen. A .1% drop rate means that once every 1000 runs one will drop. DM gets run a lot, many thousands of times on our server, so there will be many big green swords. And as more groups run the instance, more purple swords will drop, same with the bow and staff.

If you want a challenge, you can make it a challenge. As for 'teh purplez,' you gotta realise we play a game that millions of other people play. If you do something, chances are heavily in favour of the fact that you aren't the first. If you want to accomplish something unique or have something someone else doesn't have, your best bet is to play a singleplayer game.
