AQ

so it was good dette posted that thread before i started typing it all out in a summary.

obviously this is a huge opportunity for anyone, but i think when we do get to BL, if at anytime soon, who's gunna command the troops and such in silithus to do the necessary farming. the BL head quest is repeatable, so we can eventually get more, however its not really necessary, as once the gates a re open, you gain rep with the dragonflight by killing in AQ. which i want to be 20manning regularly. the rings at neutral are as good as bwl rings, and they upgrade at each new rep. but yeah, im thinking about the BL head, it needs to go to someone who is dedicated to the cause. i was at first gunna say our newly reappointed gm, bish, take it as it would make sense of our leader leading us to AQ. however it requires hours upon hours of farming and a huge group effort, and im thinking it should go to someone who is gunna be on and dedicated to it. bish if you wanna step up and assume that role im all for it, and will support you in any way possible, but if not im suggesting our silithus farmers (anna/scurn/possibly bech, id like to but i dont have enough time to really with work and all) since we already know how dedicated they were when those quests came out. and its not a huge difference from farming twilights than to farm bugs. either way, if we even get to do this, id like to see it planned out ahead of time so we look organized as a guild and contributing to our server.

there is also the downside to being dedicated. as im sure cadia is already doing this quest lineup, thats the main problem. we'd have to become really serious as a raiding guild to compete for the items necessary to make the staff. theres already tales of pvp servers griefing the shit out of one another constantly over the mobs. we'd really have to step it up, and cut the bullshit.

anyways just thought id throw this out there so we can be prepared for it.

Re: AQ

yeah i was trying to keep it along the lines of officers who are on the most, and bech popped into mind, but he'd need to be on the lock for hours upon hours unless he gets his mage up there asap to farm. which might not be so bad now that i think about it, since we still need to kill BL and get his head. bish was also the other good option cause he is GM. makes us look organized.

i was mentioning scurn/anna cause they are by far the best rep grinders in our guild, and definitely farm the most.

Re: AQ

honestly, imo anna deserves it the most. and he wont be leaving anytime soon over idiotic reasons, so i think since he's done shloads of work and rep with cc, he should be the AQ leader.

Re: AQ

also shav brought this up just now and i wasnt sure if i should say it where everyone could see it or not. but as for moving on to AQ and leaving MC behind, i think thatd be the best way to do it. simply cause once we're all done getting gear in there, itll turn into a farming area, with minimal dkp involved. and with no dkp incentive, i dont think a lot of people would go. itll turn out just like the silithus t3s, where if people cant get loot they wont wanna go, so we'll have only a small group to run mc with, which wont cut it. so leaving MC in the past and moving on to AQ would be the best choice imo, once we're done with gear of course.

Re: AQ

I know I won't want to quit MC until I get a band of accuria. Like I said though, by the time AQ40 is open and we're ready for it, we'll have MC on one night status, probably getting close with BWL and Ony just whenever she's up.

Re: AQ

How do you define "done with gear" in this case?

Honestly I don't see us being finished with MC for the next several months...espically assuming if we want any legendaries.

Re: AQ

"done with gear" would include sets people want, as far as rings/necklaces/whatever caster classes use. it wont take as long as everyone thinks, and as far as legendaries goes, i wouldnt include those with gear, however just a side bonus to farming. cause i seriously believe once people have everything they could possibly want from MC, attendence will drop. though by that time we may not even need full raid numbers for MC bosses anymore. with tier 2s opening up it makes the chore known as MC easier.

Re: AQ

Yea, part of me is just hoping the process takes long enough that I can slip Ulaire in there and get some flarecore shiat made up, and get pimped out in some epics form the MC.

Then I'll break eqdkp with how low my total goes

Re: AQ

Yea, ground out 1/3rd of level 40 the other day.

Its a 3 day weekend, I expect to be 42 or so by the end of it.

I also want to hit 60 with close to the 1200 tickets.

Re: AQ

well, if we start seriously cracking BWL, maybe you'll get lots of dragonstalkers and wont need MC.
