Re: GM Power
Yeah he spawns in the Crystal Vale in Silithus when you complete the sword quest. Kill him, loot the sword, talk to the quest NPC and he fixes it and gives it to you.

Re: GM Power
if you guys want the whole story behind them...
a rediculously long time ago, back before the titans came to this world(the people that created all the life on Azeroth), the world was ruled by the 4 elemental lords. when the the titans(who shaped our world, as well as many others) first came here, they found the elemental lords, and banished them to thier respective planes. time goes by, the titans left, and the current times came about(theres more with the titans, including the origin of Sargaras the destroyer, but i wont get into that). some of the elemental lords still had an influence on the world around them. ragnoros in particular gained a cult of followers who worked towards releasing the bonds on his prison. the others are much more covert in thier operations. but all 4 are slowly making thier presense more known on this world. |

Re: GM Power
heh, what i gave is a very stripped down version of the story. Destromath can recite pretty much all of the major history of the World of Warcraft from memory. i listened to the entire thing once, when he was reciting it, and it took about 4 hours or so. very interesting stuff too.

Re: GM Power
for the entire history? fuck, i barely know the basics, and would probably forget a whole lot of crap. i'll see if i can get ahold of destromath at some point and see if he'll write it down or something.

Re: GM Power
Ragnaros and the other elemental lords led the armies of the old gods but were not the top guys. And Prince Thunderan is not the elemental lord but just one of the more powerful ones according to the forum lore.

Re: GM Power
I'd also like to point out something I've said before...
Often, it has seemed quite greatly that Blizz is picking and choosing what lore goes into the game. So the forum lore may not be the original lore, just what they're trying to implement. |
