Attention everyone, I have an important announcement to make.

It has been officially determined (Becho, Stug and I voted, Domi and Tamer agreed) that Hammered will be moving to a different game.

Yes, a different game.

No, not anytime soon.

What game?

Why? Because it's beyond awesome. Read the FAQ, be amazed.

We may or may not be maintaining the Hammered tag across to the new game, but it's always nice to move games with an entire guild, and so a good number of us will be moving over as soon as possible, which means a year or two :P

We are currently working on preparing in several ways. First, we are attempting to establish a presence on the vanguard forums, both to keep informed about the current state of the game and to make ourselves known as a guild that intends to play the game. Given that a large group of people working together is a more effective test mechanism than a bunch of loners, we are more likely as a guild to get some members into the Beta, which would be sweet.
Second we are coming up with who we will be. This includes races (http://vanguard.lastfanboy.com/?page=races), classes (http://vanguard.lastfanboy.com/?page=classes), and names, both of characters and of the guild. Also of the town we intend to create (yep, we can do that).
Currently our Vent ramblings have created the guild Lords of Pastry, with the mighty cities of Streudelopolis, Breadburg, and Baklavia. That is, however, because we're psychotic; we checked.
So for the moment, register for the forums, post, see what's up.
Post here with guild ideas and such.
Soon we'll come up with something official to put in our sigs there to unify us.

And yeah, darkelves are badass. It all depends on what class i decide on, from there ill pick a race. Now someone go break into sigl HQ and get me some info on the classes!

You're on crack. I suspect High Elves will be sweet, but at this stage in the graphics Dark Elves look best.

2. Dark Elf, inverted. Look suspiciously like Michael Jackson.
3. High Elf. Better, but looks a lot like Spock.
4. Human. Looks like a human. Good job, Sigil.

I think I shall play a human.

EDIT: What is it that lurks in the upper right? It seems to hold those Elves' interest.

You raise interesting points. The dark elf needs a new haircut, that's for sure (incidentally, wtf is with the human's hair? it looks inflated)
I suspect the High elves will be despockified soon enough.

However, the Dark Elf remains awesome.
