Druid Gear

1 sta = 1
1 spi = 1.5
1 int = 2
1 mp5 = 4
+1 heal = .8
+1 spell = 1.2
+1 resistÂÂ* = 1
spell crit = 25
1 str = 1.5

Belt 49
Boot 46
Bracers 32
Chest 64
Gloves 46
Helm 60
Leggings 73
Shoulder 50

Salamander Scale Pants 58
Wild Growth Spaulders 45
Wristguards of Stability 20
The above 3 items should have thier dkp slashed in half when being rolled on by a non-druid.

All values are rounded to nice whole numbers.

Gonna add a little on how i came up with the mp5 to +heal.
335 mana to heal for 869 (using rejuv). This doesnt havnt the +10% all heal spells talent that only scurn has among all the druids. It only considers +15% rejuv
Considering a mana regen for 70 from spi , rather high. Requires about 300+ spi atleast. After a spell cast if you have reflection you gain about 25 mana a tick. It supposed to be 15% or regular but is bugged.

So after a spell cast, u get 8 ticks of 25 for 200 mana and then 2 ticks for 140 , bascially 20 seconds to regain mana spent to cast the heal.
So the +heal from gear is distributed over 20 seconds. Not taking into consideration that rejuv only gets 80% of +heal.

With say 5 mp5, over 20 seconds you regain, 20 extra mana. With a mana efficieny of 2.5 on the spell , u get 50 more healing.

So imo +5 mp5 = +50 heal alteast. Also +heal isnt always working at full efficiency. However there is something to be said about just healing a lot at once and hence i downgraded mp5 to +heal ratio to
+1mp5 = +5 heal

edit : Each non set piece was docked a few dkp after the same normalization as the cenarion pieces as they do not contribute to set bonus's. The only set bonus considered was the 5 piece which is +2% nature spell crit.

Re: Druid Gear

I dont see why items clearly designed for one class should be d/e because they are too expensive for another class to want to roll on it. If you notice, it also doesnt break the zero sum rule. And if i wasnt clear in my last post, a non druid would be allowed to roll on those items at half price only if the druids all passed. Wessa took the salamander scale pants and it shouldnt cost him nearly as much as it would cost a druid. For a druid it is equivalent to the cenarion. For a shaman, its a means to help the raid while waiting on his setpiece. So by making it the same price for a shaman, you hurt the raid.

Re: Druid Gear

hm, well i guess if all the people of the inteded class have it we could drop the price. now i think on it we did that for those salamander things.

Re: Druid Gear

yeah, i really think we should consider price reductions for non-intended classes. like bows; if all the hunter have better, why not give bow to rogues/wars for half price?
or *cough* thunderstrike *cough*, which would only go to, say, a hunter if no wars wanted it.

I like that idea, if only because i want a MC gun/bow for crit/ap fun but not at the prices they sit at now. After the hunters get their stuff we should def cut the ranged prices because, to a warrior it's just a slot for stats (kinda like a weapon for a caster, and those are not valued as highly as weapons for classes that actually use them)

Re: Druid Gear

we should create a sepereate thread concerning devaluing items for non-intended class's and let the druids provide feedback on the dkps proposed in this thread.

Re: Druid Gear

Tier 2 Values (Stormrage):

Helm 72
Shoulder 54
Chest 80
Bracer 42
Gloves 56
Belt 56
Pants 81
Boots 57

These have been normalized with the same value as the Cenarion and give an 18.6% increase.
