I've always thought Shadow was a good leveling spec.

Re: Leveling Spec

shadow... lol

Swords is your friend... go duel wield spec to increase your numbers. full 31 into Combat so that you have bladefury incase you get an add. Then go down assassination when ever... but youll be nearing the stage were daggers start to out weight Swords in damage.

Re: Leveling Spec

A good combat maces spec is great for leveling walk. It's probably the best spec, but be sure to get like 5 points in lethality. Basically combat and some points in assassination. You're looking for good dodge and heavy sinister strikes. It makes for faster grinding, and easier leveling as it's non-positional. Sword spec isnt bad either, but Mace spec stuns are pretty nice for long sessions of grinding.

hahahahaha. wow, you were really a noob. of course everyone's leveling grind will be different from mine. at release there was a bug with orc rogues such that if you had ghostly strike you would get 4 combo points on a mob. ah...the days of ghostly strike, evis, ghostly strike, evis....50% ish dodge on a mob AND instant huge evis. that was the hardcore leveling spec.

Re: Leveling Spec

My rogue has been subtley aside from the 5 points in the increased crit % chance. At 49 now he has 32 in subtley, 5 in assassination, and 3 in dodge % ..... I just find it fun to have like a 93% chance to dodge with evasion + ghostly strike, and a 45% chance to add combo point off of a dodge. /shrug just my 2c

That also caps at 60%

With 12% base dodge, you turn on evasion and only go to 60% dodge, not 62%.

Sucks eh?
