Senior Position:

1-Produce Manager

The Sultan Center TSC has immediate vacancy for a Produce Manager to be part of TSC Lebanon's Operations.

Job Overview

Manages the Produce Department taking care of staff and resources availability in order to ensure cost effective operations and required level of service level

Primary Accountabilities:

Ensures correct implementation of all corporate processes/procedures and standards
Systematically monitors the Section costs and operational performance and alerts the Assistant/director of any issue
Manages the section staff and constantly remind to the personnel standards and correspondent drivers of cost/service level, in order to facilitate virtuous behaviors
Implements loss prevention and shrink procedures and act in order to minimize damages, loss and thefts and optimize stock turnover
Plans and coordinates receiving/handling and replenishment operations ensuring the right level of stock on the shelf, periodic verification of expiration dates, order and cleanness for the best customer experience, correct management of promotions and seasonal products
Implements the visual merchandising recommendations for the Section and if needed adopt refinements forced by store layout/infrastructure constraints/other constraints
Manages the section suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and full coverage of the assortment defined by Merchandise
Provides inputs to the Logistics in order to optimize the replenishment and to Merchandise with regards to possible improvements of assortment/pricing/suppliers, given clients requests, local competitors and suppliers behavior for the section
Reports clients claims/requests to the Store Manager, act against them under his supervision
Follows best practice guide on Trading Standards, production sheets, code dating product rotation, temp. controls etc.


Prerequisites

University Graduate
Min of 3 years of exp. as Produce Manager preferably in a multi national retail chain
Retail commercial skills
Ability to review results and manage profitability
Leadership and managerial skills
Strong communications skills
Fluency in English and Arabic

Consolidated 3 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management with a large retailer and/or freight / transportation companies.
