is this thread doing? Is this for people to dicuss what music they like and why? or what? I like how you just created a forum without saying anything about it. here is my stance on music. I know it means a lot to some of you but personally it means nothing to me. I could go the whole way from GJ to Denver without listening to the radio. I would much rather listen to sports radio than the radio or a cd (except when brandon and i are coming up with new and cooler lyrics like to wonderwall). But i would much rather read a good book than listen to music at my house. I can appreciate the talent that goes into it but it really just doesn't do it for me. What do you all think?

Ok i'll explain it better in the description. But if you like a song, post about it. If you play guitar and learned a new song that you think otehr people should learn, post about it. If you hear "soak up the sun" 13 times at work in one night and want it to stop, post about it. Just whatever. It's not rocket science.

ok i get it, we dont have to argue about everything i suppose. i would like to say that Hurricane by bob dylan has been on my playlist along with classical music because it helps me relax while playing starcraft

Good call Nick. I'll drive to to Denver with you anytime -- music really isn't that big of a deal. I'll listen or whatever, but I really like sports talk and even just regular talk radio at times. Jamie, I know you hate him probably because he's a conservative, but my favorite is Sean Hannity. HANNITIZING THE VOTE FOR '04 -- WOOO-HOOO.

Well music to my ears is Tony Bruno in the morning, Jim Rome (my personal favorite) at lunch, Dan Patrick and Sean Hannity on the way home, and JT the Brick at night. That, Leigh, is music at its finest (and plus, they have intro music on when they come back from and go to commercials....isn't that enough?!?!?!?)

Talk radio is the best. all the guys chris mention are the best. I have been on jt and the brick and on the steve zabin show and it was the best. Which is more than i can say for music.

yeah but music makes everything better, i mean imagine Lord of the Rings fight scenes without music. They wouldnt be half as good, and for the girls imagine a romantic scene in a movie that is really good without music. They just wouldnt be the same. Music is awesome and two bands that I just found out about are really good: Pat Mcgee band and Guster. You guys should check them out. :smt035

My ideal "music" would be have them on. I hate Lord of the Rings anyway....and how can you not like sports talk? It stimulates the mind. Music is cool and stuff, but it's much better to be stimulated. Oh, and the best ever play-by-play guy is Mike Haynes, radio guy for the Colorado Avalanche. The guy is amazing....

Some of the best BANDS around are my personal fav Newcomer's Home, and Dave Matthews Band, and Widespread Panic; sports radio does not qualify for music, commercials or intros or not. Period.
